Born in Chicago, Il. in 1945. Received B.F.A. degree from the Art Institute of Chicago and University of Chicago in 1968. MA. degree with honors, Governors State University in 1989. Served as a combat artist in Viet Nam for the Department of Military History in 1969. Staff artist for W.G.N. TV Chicago from 1970 to 1973.
Founding member of the Chicago - United States Air Force Art Program in 1978. Paintings selected for the U.S.A.F. Fine Art Print Series. Currently serving as chairman of the Midwest Air Force Artists Association. Member of the NASA Fine Art Program - Historical Collection and Traveling Exhibition. Assigned to the Kennedy Space Center to cover the Atlantis Shuttle Mission STS-37 launch April 5, 1991. Covered STS-63 on February 3, 1995 and STS-84 on May 15, 1997 for the U.S. Air Force. Signature member of the Oil Painters of America. Currently serving on the Board of Directors. Selected as Artist Fellow member of the American Society of Aviation Artists Board of Trustees. Member.
